About The Goat Coffee House

The Goat Coffee House is a locally owned Eau Claire coffeehouse built around great coffee, artisan baked goods, community, and a place to feel at home.

Owners Ryan and Laura both grew up in Eau Claire, and this community has always been home. Ryan graduated from North High School, while Laura is a proud UW–Eau Claire alumna. Together, they built their family and raised their children here, turning their love for the community into a coffeehouse that reflects the people and place they care so much about.

They believed Eau Claire deserved a coffeehouse that was truly its own—not a chain, but a local gathering place with expertly prepared coffee, quality food, and a little local charm.

Today, The Goat has three Eau Claire locations, each reflecting that same commitment to quality, community, and making people feel welcome.

At our Water Street location, The Goat is right in the heart of the UW–Eau Claire community, serving the students and fellow Blugolds who call Eau Claire home. This location also features a local Artist of the Month each month, giving area artists a place to display their artwork throughout the coffeehouse.
